This week saw significant advancements in the development and testing of our system’s timer functionality. Below are the key achievements and updates:

1. Testing and Pull Requests

  • Added comprehensive tests for the newly developed timer functionality, ensuring robustness and reliability.
  • Submitted a pull request (PR) for the inclusion of the new timer features.

2. Commit Overview

Commit 458d6e0: Implementation of Timer and Cage Scheduler Features

  • File Cleanup:

Removed unnecessary .wasm files to streamline the build process.

  • Timer Integration:

Added a timer within the Virtual Machine (VM) to enhance scheduling accuracy.

Developed a timer macro to facilitate easy timer usage across various modules.

  • Scheduler Enhancements:

Integrated a scheduler into the cage module for improved execution flow management.

  • Gluon Updates:

Introduced TimerRequest for Gluon, improving the system's request-handling capabilities.

3. Forum Demo Experiments

  • Conducted experiments to integrate Verisense Node, Axum, and MeiliSearch into the forum demo.
  • Successfully determined a functional integration approach for these components.

By focusing on demand-side innovation and addressing the unique needs of AVS applications, Verisense Network is pioneering a more sustainable and effective restaking ecosystem. This approach not only ensures the long-term viability of restaking but also unlocks the full potential of pooled security, driving the next wave of blockchain innovation.
