Happy New Year from the Verisense team! As we enter 2025, we’re excited to share key milestones from a transformative 2024 and offer a glimpse into the promising year ahead.

Who We Are and Why We Build Verisense

Verisense was founded by blockchain veterans with deep expertise in Polkadot (Substrate), Avalanche, NEAR, and ICP. We’ve witnessed repeated reinventions of blockchain infrastructure, overwhelming developers and stalling innovation. Verisense champions reuse over reinvention by offering a powerful asynchronous execution and computation layer, enhancing programmability, usability, and composability across any blockchain.

Reuse the Ecosystem Adoption: General purpose L1s often face constraints in supporting complex business logic and functionalities, limiting their potential for mainstream adoption. Verisense addresses these limitations through an unique actor-model-based hybrid network, allowing active data i/o, database queries and complex operational tasks to any blockchain. The extended programmability and composability empowers established L1 ecosystems (i.e. BTC, Ethereum, and Solana) with beyond-smart-contract capability. Examples are:

  • BTC Ecosystem: Native BTC Defi, bridgeless atomic swaps (uniswap for BTC assets), multisig wallets, conditional payment and etc
  • Heavy Computation Tasks: Decentralized AI agents, Key Management of FHE apps
  • Mainstream Adoption: Decentralized video streaming, email, forum, social apps

By reusing the user base, traffic, and liquidity of established L1s, Verisense avoids the uphill battle of building adoption from scratch, creating win-win outcomes.

Reuse Shared Security via Restaking: Shared security via restaking allows startups to launch their dApps with minimum starting cost, bypassing launching tokens prematurely. However, the restaking system is hindered due to overlooking the critical distinction between shared security from staking/PoS versus restaking. In staking, shared security is distributed uniformly and collectively — no direct payment for it. By contrast, restaking requires AVS to pay for the amount of shared security they consume in order to make the business model working sustainably. This introduces the need for mechanisms to measure, price and allocate shared security, something that was never necessary before but has now become a fundamental requirement. However, implementing this level of adaptability and precision is complex, a challenge Verisense solves with its unique design. Verisense removes a few other major pain points of current restaking, and unlocks substantial demand for AVSes.

2024: A Year of Growth and Milestones

Research and Thought Leadership

Product Development

  • Launched the Alpha Devnet, marking the milestone of the first major step in our journey to define asynchronized execution. Watch block generation and finalization live on our Devnet Explorer.
  • Released the preview version of the Verisense SDK (vrs-core-sdk). Start exploring the SDK with our step-by-step developer guide: Verisense Docs.
  • Complete the integration with restaking partners. Ready to unlock the huge demands of AVS. More to see Verisense GitHub.

Early Validation and Trial Client

  • Onboarded the first paid AVS Rustcc.cn (dev social forum, 7000+ active dev users)
  • Partnered with BitRealm (short-drama video app, 650K+ users) with plans for 1M+ new users in Q1 2025

Strategic Partnership

  • Official partnerships with Symbiotic (PR, X announcements ) and Karak (PR. X announcements).
  • Collaborations with Story Protocol, EigenLayer, Babylon, and Solayer are in progress.

Marketing, Events and Others

  • Co-hosted the FHE Day Singapore during Token 2049, positioning Verisense among the top FHE projects in the FHE ecosystem. See the event info
  • Accepted to Stanford Blockchain Accelerator Cohort 6.
  • Fast-tracked to Binance Incubator Alliance Program (BIA). Presented and demoed on Binance Blockchain Week at Dubai.

Looking Ahead to 2025

  • Finalize Monadring Consensus and launch the Testnet Alpha in Q1.
  • Prepare for the Mainnet Launch in Q2.
  • Accelerate global developer community growth.
  • Launch strategic marketing campaigns to raise awareness about Verisense and infrastructure reuse.
  • Onboard more paying AVS clients and re-ignite the restaking influential power

2025 is set to be a year of bold steps and groundbreaking milestones. We’re excited to continue this journey with you, fostering innovation, collaboration, and shared success.
